Job summary

Related Affordable Housing is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator to empower residents by connecting them to essential services and fostering a strong sense of community within one of our largest affordable housing communities.

You will help residents maintain independence, improve health outcomes, and contribute to a supportive housing environment by coordinating access to services and promoting resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in resident or social service programs.
• Strong knowledge of local resources and federal/state programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based reporting.
• Able to maintain confidentiality with professionalism.
• Demonstrates accountability and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to residents by identifying and connecting them to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on community services, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
• Organize and promote activities that encourage resident engagement and neighbor support.
• Act as liaison between residents, property management, and external service providers.
• Maintain confidential resident files, service logs, and incident reports; prepare quarterly summaries.
• Advocate for residents by facilitating access to resources and addressing barriers.
