Job summary

The American Association of Service Coordinators seeks a Resident Service Coordinator to empower residents at one of our affordable housing communities. You will connect residents to essential services, promote health and wellness, and support independent living through personalized guidance and resource navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in resident or social service programs.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• Strong knowledge of local resources and federal/state programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based reporting systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionally.
• Passion for social action and affordable housing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and connect residents to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on services, eligibility, and processes.
• Organize activities to promote resident engagement and community.
• Liaise between residents, management, and external providers.
• Maintain confidential resident files and prepare quarterly summaries and outcomes.
• Advocate to facilitate access to resources and address barriers.
• Collaborate with management to plan monthly calendars and volunteer programs.
