Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California seeks a Program Manager to evaluate and direct the care and supervision of residents within a multidisciplinary team. You will supervise all program site staff and ensure adherence to policies, licensing requirements, and funding agreements.

In this role you will coordinate intakes, maintain resident records, monitor service plans, and participate in team meetings, while providing monthly supervision and ensuring HIPAA compliance across all client matters.

Qualifications

• BA in human services or four years’ comparable experience.
• English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• TB screening within the first month of employment.
• Previous management experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, implement and enforce program policies.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Title 22 specifications.
• Recruit and determine eligibility of residents and coordinate intakes.
• Maintain and actively manage a list of eligible clients.
• Ensure the accuracy of resident records and data for reports.
• Participate in resident service team meetings and conferences.
• Monitor each resident’s service plan and progress.
• Liaise with licensing and other agencies regarding procedures.
• Document invoices from funders and vendors monthly.
• Provide monthly supervision for frontline staff and evaluate performance.
