Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Pasadena is seeking a dedicated Resident Manager to oversee facility operations and supervise staff and residents on-site. You will support the daily functions of the residence, coordinate maintenance, safety, and programming, and provide guidance to beneficiaries as part of a recovery-focused program.

Primary duties include supervising desk, canteen, and housekeeping operations, managing supplies, and driving a Salvation Army van for events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess integrity, resourcefulness and initiative.
• Experience supervising others is desirable.
• California residents must have a valid Class B license with passenger endorsement or obtain one within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance including grounds, buildings, and janitorial operations.
• Supervise residence desk, canteen, laundry, and staff; provide training as needed.
• Coordinate security, safety, and incident reporting for residents.
• Drive Salvation Army passenger van for program activities and events.
• Maintain records and coordinate coverage with the Center Administrator.
• Ensure confidentiality and uphold program policies.
