Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company seeks a dedicated Resident Service Coordinator to support residents at the Fairington community in Anderson, IN. The role focuses on intake, assessments, referrals, and tailored service planning to promote stability and well-being.

You will collaborate with management, coordinate programming, and track progress to ensure services align with the resident services plan and improve quality of life for residents. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in social service delivery.
• Experience with PC based word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License in the state of residence.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Able to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Resident intake, annual resident assessments, ongoing referral services, evaluation of health, psychological and social needs, and development of tailored case plans.
• Accurately maintain records of resident interactions, goals, and achievements.
• Follow up on lease violations and work to reduce evictions.
• Coordinate resident programming with property management and program teams.
• Develop and implement regular onsite programs to meet residents’ needs and enhance quality of life.
• Establish partnerships with community organizations for referrals and on-site services.
• Collect data to measure resident and program outcomes.
