Job summary

Mercy Housing in SeaTac, WA is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to lead on-site programs, track outcomes, and connect residents with resources to stay stable and thrive. You will work closely with teammates to promote resident stability and may provide direct support when needed.

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) strongly preferred. Duties include data collection for program components, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating services

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in community development or related field.
• Preferred: experience with individuals with mental health issues.
• Experience with IDD populations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect required data for designated program components and record data in the Mercy Housing database accurately.
• Evaluate outcomes of programs and services on a regular basis.
• Develop an understanding of residents to guide them toward appropriate services.
• Participate in activities with Mercy Housing and partner agencies to enhance relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Resident Services Coordinator plays a key role in helping residents thrive. You will lead on-site programs, track outcomes, and connect residents with the resources they need to remain stable and successful. When needed, you may provide direct support to residents and collaborate closely with teammates to promote resident stability.

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) strongly preferred.

Location: Connection Angle Lake Apartments | SeaTac, WA

Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 11am-7:30pm or 10am-6:30pm, Friday: 11am-4:30pm or 10am-3:30pm

Pay: $28-30/hour, depending on experience; plus up to $2,000 sign-on bonus

Duties

• Collect required data for designated program components and record data in the Mercy Housing database in an accurate and timely way. Maintain all reporting requirements set by funding and/or government agencies.
• Evaluate outcomes of programs and services delivered on a regular basis as required.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents (conduct needs assessments, community meetings, etc.) in order to guide them towards appropriate services and resources.
• Participate in and/or lead activities within Mercy Housing and in collaboration with partner agencies that build professional capacity and enhance working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in community development, social services, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
• Two (2) years working with senior and developmentally disabled populations.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience conducting community assessments, applying the principles of conflict management, and organizing community groups, events, or programs.
• Experience supervising staff.

Knowledge And Skills

• Work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting the perspectives and contributions of others.
• Demonstrate a high level of verbal, writing, and listening skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Maintain confidentiality and to obtain appropriate release of information as necessary.
• Able to work with people with mental health, disability, substance abuse, legal, and financial issues.
