Job summary

Abode Services is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for the Hawthorn program in San Jose, CA. You will provide housing stabilization services, counseling, and referrals to financial and legal resources to help households achieve stability.

Collaborate with property management to foster a safe, engaged community and support residents in maintaining housing and independence. Travel regionally as needed and maintain case files and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field or equivalent field experience.
• 1 year of case management experience providing services to homeless or low-income individuals and/or families.
• Valid California Driver's License and auto insurance with a clean DMV record; ability to drive/transport participants.
• Flexible working hours including some weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing stabilization services including counseling and referrals to financial/credit counseling, legal services, and individualized housing plans towards permanent housing stability.
• Coordinate with property management to foster community and assist residents in maintaining housing and independence.
• Offer crisis intervention as needed and maintain comprehensive case files and program reports.
