Job summary

Abode Services seeks a Resident Services Coordinator to deliver housing stabilization services within Alameda County. The role includes counseling, referrals to financial/credit counseling, legal services, and crafting individualized housing plans to secure permanent stability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with property management, connecting residents to community resources, and maintaining comprehensive case files and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field or equivalent field experience.
• 1 year of case management experience providing services to homeless or low-income individuals and/or families.
• Use of personal vehicles and proof of valid California Driver's License and current auto insurance, along with a clean DMV record, is required.
• Driving and transportation of participants when required.
• Work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing stabilization services to households who are homeless and/or low income.
• Develop individualized housing plans including a path to permanent housing stability after financial assistance.
• Develop community relationships with local service providers and neighborhood.
• Assist residents in retaining housing and maximizing independence by linking to community services such as crisis intervention, income support and health services.
• Maintain and submit programmatic reports and case files as required.
