Job summary

Abode Services, a leading Bay Area nonprofit, seeks a Resident Services Coordinator to provide housing stabilization services for households in Alameda County. The role includes counseling, referrals to financial and legal supports, and developing individualized housing plans toward permanent stability.

You will work with diverse communities, collaborate with property management, and connect residents to crisis intervention, benefits, employment support, and health services to maximize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, or Sociology, or equivalent field experience.
• At least 1 year of case management experience serving homeless or low-income individuals or families.
• Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean DMV record; driving may be required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop a community calendar of educational, recreational, and civic engagement activities.
• Build collaborative relationships with local service providers and community agencies; maintain neighborhood relations.
• Collaborate with property management to foster resident ownership and community.
• Link residents to crisis intervention, rehab, income support, and health services to maximize housing stability.
• Provide referrals for assessment/treatment services for developmental, learning, or family considerations.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and support program participants.
• Maintain and secure case files and prepare program reports.
