Job summary

Saint John’s Communities is seeking a Resident Service Specialist to operate lobby desks, greet residents and visitors, and manage a switchboard with a strong focus on customer service. The role monitors safety systems, assists with appointments, and coordinates deliveries.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of customer service experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED; college coursework or degree preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in customer services and/or with multi-line telephone systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and transfers to appropriate person or department.
• Greets residents, families, guests and staff, providing information and directions.
• Monitors visitor admittance and maintains security with procedures.
• Assists with scheduling, deliveries, and guest-suite reservations as needed.
• Keeps logs, communications and shift reports up to date for the team.
