Job summary

Jubilee Housing in Washington, DC seeks a Community Services Coordinator to foster a welcoming, resident-centered environment across two long-term housing developments. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver education, health, wellness, and mentorship activities, and build a calendar aligned with resident needs and organizational goals.

You will engage residents, promote programs through newsletters and social media, recruit volunteers, and coordinate partnerships with schools, healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of Human Services experience in community settings preferred.
• Flexibility to work events during evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational, health, wellness, mentorship, and community-building activities.
• Develop calendars; conduct surveys; organize events and workshops.
• Engage residents, promote programs via newsletters and social media; build partnerships.
• Maintain records of participation and outcomes; ensure program compliance.
