Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Resident Services Coordinator to empower residents at Laurelwood Place Apartments and Sycamore Place Apartments in Bridgeport, CT. The role focuses on education, vocation, and self-improvement opportunities, with supervision from the Director of Resident Services and collaboration with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on social work, human services, public health, psychology or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with families in housing or human services settings preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse communities and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with local service providers to bring on-site programs and referrals for education, youth development and health.
• Provide non-clinical case management and referral services to residents.
• Coordinate with property management and community providers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes in case files.
• Create outreach materials and communicate with residents via newsletters and home visits.
• Assist with contracts and MOUs with providers and partners.
