Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Resident Services Coordinator for Laurelwood Place Apartments & Sycamore Place Apartments in Bridgeport, CT. The RSC will empower residents through education, vocational opportunities, and access to services, reporting to the Director of Resident Services.

Responsibilities include building partnerships with local service providers, coordinating non-clinical case management, and maintaining participant records while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience with families in housing or human services.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of child development or youth program experience.
• Experience overseeing grants is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• HUD regulations knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic partnerships with local service providers to offer on-site programs or referrals.
• Provide non-clinical case management and referrals to residents.
• Initiate strategic relationships with other local service providers and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with residents to understand needs and connect them with local resources and opportunities.
• Coordinate with management, family/child/eldercare providers, and health professionals while maintaining confidentiality.
• Create outreach materials and communicate with residents via newsletters, calls, and home visits.
• Document resident demographics, issues, requests, statistics, incidents, and outcomes in the services software.
• Coordinate resources around issues like housekeeping and late rent payers.
• Manage contracts or MOUs with providers and partners.
• Develop linkages with area resources to address community needs.
