Zusammenfassung

Vesta Management in New London, CT seeks an experienced Resident Services Coordinator to empower residents through education, vocation, and opportunities for self-improvement. You will coordinate services with community partners and report to the Senior RSC, supporting residents’ outcomes and requests.

Responsibilities include establishing partnerships, coordinating non-clinical case management, and maintaining case notes.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
• Preference for a bachelor’s degree with a focus on social work, human services, public health, or psychology, Developmental Disabilities, community development, or a related field.
• 2+ years of overall professional experience working with families in housing or human services agencies preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and/or experience working with youth.
• Experience overseeing and managing grants a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs.
• Previous experience in property management, and knowledge of HUD regulations is a plus.
• Previous engagement, communication, and collaboration with residents of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds are preferred.
• Experience working with partners and site team members to implement programs and initiatives.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

Aufgaben

• Develops and maintains partnerships with local service providers to bring on-site programs or provide referrals.
• Provide non-clinical case management and referral services to all residents.
• Initiate strategic relationships with other local service providers and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with residents to understand needs and connect them with resources.
• Collaborate with property management staff and health, financial, and social service professionals to resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality.
• Create outreach and communication with residents, including newsletters, flyers, calls, and home visits.
• Maintain documentation on resident demographics, issues, requests, statistics, incidents, interactions, and outcomes.
• Manage contracts or Memoranda of Understanding with providers and partners.
• Develop and maintain linkages with area resources for residents' social and recreational needs.
• Other duties as requested.
