Job summary

Community Housing Development Corporation is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to provide direct social services to residents in affordable housing properties. You will ensure high-quality living experiences by understanding resident needs and coordinating services and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the field of work.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, orientation, and needs assessment of residents and tailor services.
• Provide direct services such as case management, information and referrals, and translation assistance.
• Complete detailed case notes and documentation of referrals and outcomes.
• Develop networks with government and social service agencies.
• Advocate for residents with service agencies and property management.
• Plan activities promoting community health and resident empowerment.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site social/recreational activities.
• Support Residents Council development.
• Submit timesheets and allocate hours to funding sources.
• Prepare program files, reports and grant documents.
• Maintain resident files with intake, referrals and outcomes.
