Job summary

Longfellow Senior Housing, a Vesta community in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a part-time Resident Services Coordinator to empower residents through education, vocation, and opportunities for self-improvement.

The RSC will assess residents' needs, coordinate with third-party providers, and build partnerships with community services to support education, health, and financial stability. Strong bilingual skills and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal & written) strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree focus on social work, human services, public health, or psychology, etc.
• 2+ years of professional experience in housing or human services preferred.
• Knowledge of child development or experience with youth.
• Experience overseeing and/or managing grants is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs.
• Prior engagement with HUD regulations is a plus.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers to bring on-site programs or referrals.
• Provide non-clinical case management and referrals for residents.
• Coordinate services with third-party social service providers.
• Build relationships with residents to understand needs and connect with resources.
• Communicate with residents via newsletters, flyers, calls, and home visits.
• Maintain documentation of resident demographics, issues, requests, and outcomes.
