Community Housing Innovations (CHI) in Hyde Park, NY is seeking a part-time Resident Support Specialist to help safeguard residents, visitors, staff and property. The RSS will monitor the site, conduct tours, enforce CHI and DSS rules, and provide limited crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years in related field may substitute for formal education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English required; Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions and perform proper notifications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain site visibility with residents by tours, safety vest and ID badge.
• Enforce CHI and DSS policies and rules with residents; provide crisis support when needed.
• Submit internal and external reports and maintain logs and incident notes.
