Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking a full-time Floating Resident Support Specialist for our Middle Island location. The RSS will provide a safe, structured environment for residents and staff, travel to other sites to deliver food, monitor conduct, and coordinate client movement during tours of duty.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a related field. Strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and physical ability to tour properties are

Qualifikationen

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintain visibility to residents, staff, and visitors.
• Screen clients and visitors entering the facility.
• Perform bag searches upon intake and as required.
• De-escalate potential crisis situations and document interventions.
• Conduct rounds throughout the facility and monitor safety systems.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and other documentation.
• Assist with front desk duties and administrative tasks.
• Support afterschool/evening activities as needed.
