Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking a Part-time Resident Support Specialist for our Hyde Park location. The RSS will help ensure safety and security for clients, visitors, staff, and property, while enforcing policies and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities include conducting unit inspections, processing referrals, and supporting afterschool/evening activities. Prior experience and bilingual skills are a plus; position offers weekend shifts and a supportive nonprofit

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility to residents through site tours and patrols.
• Enforce CHI policies and rules with residents.
• Conduct unit inspections and document appropriately.
• Assist with afterschool/evening activities and outdoor events.
• Prepare vacant units for new placements and monitor safety procedures.
