Housing Opportunities Unlimited is seeking a Resident Relocation Coordinator to oversee relocation tasks across multiple sites, coordinate with residents, vendors, and property management, and maintain accurate records.

You will provide counseling, prepare notices, report to clients, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to navigate diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in relocation services, social services, or customer service.
• Provide verbal interpretation and translations if needed.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize on various projects.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate relocations across multiple sites, managing relocations, investigations, and vendor coordination.
• Survey residents to understand relocation needs and preferences.
• Inventory tenant belongings and address issues like clutter or infestation.
• Facilitate resident/community meetings to discuss relocation processes and rights.
• Prepare and distribute notices to affected households and maintain proof of receipt.
• Provide relocation counseling and assist in compliance with regulations.
• Liaise between HOU, property management, clients, and residents.
• Provide weekly and monthly client reports and maintain relocation databases.
