Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations within the community. The incumbent must maintain a high degree of professionalism and positive engagement for residents and staff, handling customer service, administrative tasks, and renewal activities to ensure an exceptional living experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Demonstrate community and apartment/model features; close the sale.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close; refer to sister communities if needed.
• Orient new residents to the community and complete move-in paperwork.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Accept rental payments and input lease data into Yardi accurately.
• Maintain current resident files and distribute notices.
