Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations within the community. The role requires professionalism, strong customer service, and a passion for connecting with residents and staff to deliver an unforgettable living experience.

You will greet prospects, qualify leads, present floorplans, process applications in the Yardi system, and coordinate move-ins while maintaining accurate records and supporting renewals.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, Internet, and e-mail
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service at all times.
• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate features and close the sale.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Update availability and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on agreed date.
• Follow up on prospects and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Secure resident signatures and orient new residents.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow-up on notices.
