Job summary

Graceworks Lutheran Services is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support a residential reentry center serving adults under federal supervision. You will assist with program administration, staff supervision, case management oversight, and regulatory compliance within a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience with individuals with co‑occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
• Strong counseling skills with experience in individual and group counseling.
• Ability to apply counseling and case management with adult correctional clients with dual diagnoses.
• Meet all background checks, drug screening, and employment requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manages day‑to‑day operations of the Residential Reentry Center.
• Maintains familiarity with program curricula and fidelity to materials.
• Ensures compliance with house rules and regulations.
• Conducts intake screenings with DOC and coordinates admissions.
• Facilitates Community Reintegration Plan meetings with staff and DCC agent.
• Assists Program Manager with planning, audits, and staff evaluations.
• Trains and orients employees, interns, and volunteers.
• Ensures staff training and certification maintenance.
• Provides direct client services as needed.
• Supervises Resident Monitors and other staff.
• Reviews resident passes with counseling staff.
• Performs QA reviews to ensure compliance.
• Serves as on‑call supervisor for emergencies.
• Plans and facilitates monthly All‑Staff Meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
