Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support the operation of a residential reentry center serving adults under the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The role partners with the Program Manager to maintain a safe, professional environment and ensure compliance with agency and funder requirements. The position involves staff supervision, program administration, case management oversight, and possibly direct client services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or related human services field.
• Master’s degree preferred (in related field).
• Experience with individuals with co-occurring disorders is required.
• Strong counseling and case management skills.
• Ability to meet background checks, drug screening, and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Residential Reentry Center.
• Supervise staff and provide coaching and training.
• Coordinate intake screenings and admissions with DOC.
• Lead Community Reintegration Plan meetings with treatment staff and DCC agents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with licensing and funding requirements.
• Serve as acting Program Manager during absences and participate in on-call rotation.
• Provide direct client services as needed and supervise Resident Monitors.
