Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure food quality, taste, and presentation, while maintaining sanitation standards and supporting inventory needs.

We offer a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour, plus benefits like telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance programs, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
