Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean kitchen. This role supports resident satisfaction and operates in a team environment.

Starting pay is USD 17.00 per hour, with benefits available to all employees. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic cooking experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cook/food preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
