Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, taste, and presentation while upholding safety standards.

This role offers pay of $17.00–$18.00 per hour plus benefits such as telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance, and ongoing training. Residency in the service area is required and ServSafe certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Good communication with staff, residents, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
