Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, and maintain sanitation standards while providing friendly service in a supportive team.

Starting pay is USD 17.00 per hour, with opportunities for training and career development. A high school diploma and food prep experience are preferred, along with adherence to safety and vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants, staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.
• May require sanitation and safety course.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
