Peregrine Senior Living in Cheektowaga, NY, is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules and a competitive hourly wage.

You will ensure compliance with regulations, monitor medications, and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care for seniors in memory-focused programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of resident care experience with medication management.
• Willingness to follow regulations regarding residents’ rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and support the medication program per physician orders.
• Dispense medications according to MAR and regulatory guidelines.

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Assistant Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and medication management and/or training required
