Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Salisbury, MD is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Assistant on a per diem basis. The role includes helping residents with daily living activities and assisting in medication administration, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of resident care experience or training.
• CMT license is required and trainings per state regulations must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Monitor the medication program and assist in dispensing medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Support safe and compassionate care for residents in accordance with policy.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeableResident Medication Assistant.

Resident Medication Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Assistant Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
• CMT License required
