Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Shaker in Albany, NY is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Aide to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. The role offers a per diem schedule with weekend rotation and a wage of $16.50–$17.50 per hour, plus a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include ensuring residents’ rights, assisting with ADLs, monitoring medications, and dispensing per MAR. Minimum GED/HS diploma and two years’ care experience required.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Medication Aide.

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Aide Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
