Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Crossgate in Albany, NY is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and support the medication program.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and two years of resident care experience; all trainings required by state regulations will be provided. We offer generous PTO, health insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of resident care experience and/or training required.
• Complete trainings as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist in monitoring the medication program.
• Dispense medication per physician orders and MAR.

Schedule:

• Full Time: 7am - 3pm
• Full Time: 11pm – 7am

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Medication Aide

Salary:$16.50 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Shift differential also available for Evenings, Nights and Weekend Shifts

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Aide Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
