Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Albany, NY is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Aide for per diem coverage, including every other weekend shifts. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and overseeing medication administration in accordance with physician orders and MAR.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of resident care experience, plus completion of state-required trainings. We offer generous benefits and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, etc.).
• Monitor the medication program and dispense medications per physician orders and MAR.

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour with shift differential- based on experience

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Medication Aide.

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Aide Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
