Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC is seeking a Cook at our Genoa Retirement Village in Genoa, OH. You will prepare fresh meals following menus and dietary guidelines while upholding safety and sanitation standards to support residents’ well-being.

You will assist with inventory, store foods properly, supervise dietary staff when needed, and help set up service areas. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate care in a thriving long-term care community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
