Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Findlay, OH is seeking a Cook to prepare fresh meals that support residents' health and well-being, following established safety and sanitation standards while delivering a positive dining experience.

You will assist the Food Service Manager with inventory, supervise Dietary staff when needed, set up meal service stations, store food properly, and use technology to create a great dining experience for residents and families while maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE required or preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years cooking experience
• Experience with recipe adherence and dietary guidelines helpful

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using recipes for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
