AMH, a leading single-family rental and homebuilder, seeks a Resident Manager to oversee a portfolio of homes in Houston. You will ensure a superior resident experience, resolve service issues, and oversee tenant lifecycle documentation.

The role emphasizes lease renewals, move-out processing, and compliance with state laws, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in property operations or property management.
• Real Estate License and any required state permits.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with property management software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong tenant relationship management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive relationships with residents in portfolio.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Drive lease renewals and execute new leases.
• Conduct move-out reconciliation and assess damages.
• Implement collection strategies to minimize evictions.
• Represent the company at eviction hearings and monitor HOA compliance.
• Adhere to organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures.
