American Homes 4 Rent, LP (AMH) is seeking a Resident Manager to oversee a portfolio of single-family homes and optimize the resident lifecycle. You will resolve service issues, drive lease renewals, and ensure compliance with state laws through the tenant lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong communication, tenant relation skills, and experience with property management software while supporting the company’s mission to simplify leasing through professional management and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, finance, business management, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience in Property Operations, Real Estate, or Property Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of single-family homes and deliver superior resident experiences.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and resolve issues.
• Drive lease renewals and execute new leases within the market.
• Conduct move-out reconciliation and assess damages per state laws.
• Implement collection strategies to minimize evictions and delinquencies.
• Represent AMH at eviction hearings and monitor HOA compliance.
