St. Joseph’s Center, with a history of over 130 years of helping and supporting others in our community, is looking for a Resident Manager to join our Community Living Arrangements team.

The Resident Manager helps oversee daily operations across our community homes, supports and supervises Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and ensures that individuals receive quality care in a safe and supportive environment. This position plays an important role in staff development, scheduling, medication management, and maintaining program documentation. If you are a dependable, organized, and compassionate leader who enjoys working with others, this is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.

Why you'll love St. Joseph's Center:

At St. Joseph’s Center, you'll be part of a team that believes every person deserves compassionate care, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to thrive. As a Resident Manager, you'll have the opportunity to support your team, help employees grow, and make a positive impact on the daily lives of individuals in our community homes.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff development.
  • Create staff schedules, maintain appropriate staffing ratios, coordinate coverage for employee absences, and cross-train staff as needed.
  • Support medication management by monitoring medication expiration dates, controlled medications, medication documentation, and staff medication administration skills.
  • Assist with developing individual program plans and participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ensure community homes provide a safe environment and maintain necessary supplies, equipment, and program materials.
  • Communicate employee strengths, concerns, and performance issues to Program Specialists.
  • Share administrative directives with staff and promote teamwork and communication among employees.
  • Coordinate and support individuals' medical appointments.
  • Train staff on shift responsibilities and update procedures as needed.
  • Help employees access St. Joseph’s Center email and MITC systems, and maintain data for electronic timekeeping systems at community homes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for reportable incidents and complete required electronic incident reports.
  • Complete assigned supervisory responsibilities, attend staff meetings, and participate in required training.
  • Follow St. Joseph’s Center policies and procedures while promoting our values of Care, Concern, Compassion, and Commitment.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and other Resident Managers.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities and program needs.

What you'll get:

  • Health & Wellness – Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 24/7 no-cost telehealth for you and your family.
  • Security and Peace of Mind – Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, along with a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account.
  • Balance That Matters – Paid time off and holidays so you can recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
  • Growth & Future Planning – A 401(k) with company contribution and match, tuition reimbursement, and paid training to support your professional development. Paid Parental Leave is available after one year of employment.
  • Extra Perks – Employee referral bonuses, national and local discounts, and access to our Employee Assistance Program for counseling, legal, financial, and family support resources.
  • Competitive Wage – Wages starting at at $19.47. Opportunities for advancement and additional compensation based on experience and responsibilities.
