AMH is seeking a Resident Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our Field Schedulers and Resident Maintenance Specialists within an assigned territory, ensuring effective maintenance coordination and high-quality resident service across properties.

Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling coverage, coaching, and driving measurable performance with strong communication and leadership skills, in a maintenance/property management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years in maintenance/call center roles.
• Experience in leading teams.
• Scheduling/Dispatching experience desirable.
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance or property management.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse teams.
• Willingness to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Field Schedulers and Resident Maintenance Specialists, including hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Ensure proper scheduled coverage of the team to meet organizational needs.
• Monitor team performance and conduct individual and team coaching, or development sessions as needed.
• Communicate objectives and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly metrics, working closely with the team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Review vendor bid submissions to ensure they meet company expectations and the needs of the asset.
• Provide support to resolve issues or escalations and ensure work orders are completed satisfactorily and promptly.
• Lead meetings aligned with seasonal and operational trends, proactively addressing the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with various departmental teams to ensure completion of all service needs within the assigned territory.
