Job summary

AMH is seeking a Resident Maintenance Supervisor in Orlando to oversee Field Schedulers and Resident Maintenance Specialists within an assigned territory. You will lead a team, ensure coverage, coach performance, and drive metrics to meet resident service goals.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and knowledge of maintenance, construction, and property management. Weekend work may be required, with quarterly bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years of progressive responsibility in a maintenance/call center environment.
• Experience in leading teams is required.
• Scheduling/Dispatching experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction, maintenance, and/or property management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Field Schedulers and Resident Maintenance Specialists, including hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Ensure proper scheduled coverage of the team to meet organizational needs.
• Monitor team performance and conduct coaching or development sessions as needed.
• Communicate objectives and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly metrics with the team.
• Review vendor bid submissions to ensure alignment with company expectations.
• Provide support to resolve issues and ensure work orders are completed satisfactorily and promptly.
• Lead meetings aligned with seasonal and operational trends to address business needs.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure completion of all service needs within the territory.
