Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant to support planning and implementing resident activities aligned with the Six Dimensions of Wellness. The role assists the Life Engagement Coordinator and may supervise the Life Engagement Coordinator when needed.

The position requires a flexible schedule, with responsibilities spanning individual and group activities, outings, and community events, while maintaining activity spaces and coordinating volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Engagement Coordinator with developing, planning, and implementing resident activities reflecting individual preferences and Six Dimensions of Wellness.
• Complete Life Story/Six Dimensions of Wellness assessments for new residents.
• Plan, coordinate, and help supervise resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity areas, supplies, and equipment; manage volunteer involvement.
