Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to deliver meaningful programming for residents by incorporating the Six Dimensions of Wellness. You will support the Life Engagement Coordinator across all care levels and promote participation through individualized and group opportunities.

The role requires a flexible schedule and supervision of the Life Engagement Coordinator, with duties including planning activities, assessments, outings, and volunteer coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience working with elderly populations.
• Food Handlers Permit must be obtained and maintained.
• Clean driving record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Engagement Coordinator with developing, planning, and implementing resident activities reflecting individual preferences.
• Complete Life Story/Six Dimensions assessments for new residents.
• Plan, coordinate, and help supervise resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity areas, supplies, and equipment; manage volunteer involvement.
