Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Life Engagement Coordinator to deliver meaningful programming for residents, aligning activities with the Six Dimensions of Wellness. You will supervise engagement staff and Memory Care teams, coordinate outings, and manage calendars and budget.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to respond to changing scheduling needs while ensuring high-quality engagement for residents across levels of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience working with elderly populations.
• Chauffeur license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement resident activities reflecting preferences.
• Oversee and mentor engagement staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity areas, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare monthly Engagement calendar and newsletter.
• Manage resident store and memory care life stations.
• Ensure records comply with regulations and budgets.
