Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to deliver meaningful programming across all care levels, incorporating the Six Dimensions of Wellness. You will oversee engagement staff, plan outings and events, and maintain records in compliance with state rules.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, supervision of the Life Engagement Coordinator, and budget management for the department to support resident well-being and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills.
• Organized, flexible, patient, and professional with a commitment to the elderly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; problem-solving skills.
• Clean driving record; ability to provide proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement resident activities reflecting preferences and Six Dimensions of Wellness.
• Complete Life Story/Six Dimensions assessments for new residents.
• Oversee and mentor other Resident Engagement staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity areas, supplies, and equipment; manage volunteers.
