Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Kihei, HI is seeking an Engage Life Coordinator to develop engaging programs for residents and enhance their daily experiences. You’ll collaborate with residents to tailor activities, lead exercise and fitness activities, and ensure events run smoothly across daily and monthly schedules.

You will contribute to a vibrant community by welcoming new residents, coordinating with staff, and supporting transportation for events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related activity coordination experience.
• Effective verbal and written English communication with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Must possess valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Proficient computer skills – Word, Outlook, Excel; can use iPad/tablet and other devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and develop daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
• Connect residents with activities and the wider community.
• Teach and lead exercise and assist with fitness equipment.
• Engage residents with spontaneity, purpose, and social interaction.
• Welcome new residents and facilitate integration into activities.
• Publish monthly program calendars and ensure timely updates.
• Support customer satisfaction goals and smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate transportation and driver supervision for community events.
• Assist in planning parties, events, and decorations.
