Job summary

Atria Senior Living in California seeks an Engage Life Coordinator to design programs that enhance residents’ lives and strengthen the community. You will tailor activities with residents and may serve as manager on duty to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include leading Engage Life programs, coordinating calendars, welcoming new residents, and coordinating transportation needs while partnering with volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of coordinating, planning, and executing group activities and events.
• English communication skills, verbal and written; valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and develop daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
• Keep residents connected to each other, the community, and outside activities.
• Teach and lead exercises and assist with fitness equipment.
• Engage and motivate residents by incorporating spontaneity, simple pleasures, purpose, and strength.
• Welcome new residents and introduce them to others with similar interests.
• Coordinate company programs and publish a monthly activity calendar.
• Support Operations in achieving resident satisfaction scores.
• Coordinate transportation-related needs with drivers and volunteers.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach, and manage the Driver position at the community.
• Assist in planning parties, events, and decorating the community.
