Job summary

Cogir of Sonoma Plaza is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in creating and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being through engaging programs.

The role requires handling group and individual activities, coordinating events, and assisting in newsletters while maintaining resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities, exercise, and outings.
• Coordinate activities, decorate for events, and support the monthly newsletter.
• Document outcomes and progress notes and review goals.
