Job summary

You will supervise CFY clinical fellows or students, provide in-services, maintain meticulous documentation, and educate residents and families about goals, home programs, safety measures, and discharge planning. This role requires state licensure and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; state license required
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state; continuing education per state
• Experience supervising CFY or students preferred
• Proficient with health IT systems (Net Health, Point Click Care)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Supervise CFY Speech Fellows or students
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff and families regarding progress and discharge
• Complete timely, compliant documentation per policy
• Maintain infection control and safe treatment environment
• Educate residents and families on goals, home programs, and safety
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
