Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a property manager to lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals across our communities. You will manage payroll, oversee rent collections and vendor invoices, and ensure community operations meet company standards and occupancy targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ year as residential property manager with HUD/Section 8 experience a plus, or 3+ years in a general manager role with strong leadership.
• High School diploma or associate degree; COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Resident-focused with a commitment to exceptional service.
• Deadline-driven with attention to detail, compliance and quality.
• Technically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to deliver great resident experiences.
• Process community staff payroll.
• Ensure rent collections are received and deposited.
• Process community invoices and maintain supplies.
• Maintain occupancy levels at or above 98% and build relationships with owners and residents.
• Review rental applications and approve as appropriate.
• Complete move-out paperwork and inspections; conduct annual and housekeeping inspections.
• Audit resident files and prepare government/regulatory reports; maintain company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
