Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Community Manager in Marysville, OH to lead leasing and maintenance teams, manage payroll and financials, and ensure high occupancy and resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes compliance, timely reporting, and strong customer service in a 100% employee-owned company with a long Midwest presence.

The position requires 1+ year of residential property management experience (HUD/Section 8 a plus) or 3 years in a general manager role with proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a residential property manager; HUD/Section 8 experience a big plus.
• 3+ years in a general manager role with strong people leadership and process management experience.
• High School diploma; associate’s degree a plus; COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals.
• Process community staff payroll.
• Oversee rent collections and deposit to the community.
• Process invoices and purchase supplies.
• Maintain occupancy standards (minimum 98%).
• Review rental applications for approval.
• Complete move-out paperwork and inspections.
• Audit resident files and finalize reports for review.
